On Longing Assignment

"The Body is the primary mode of perceiving scale." This photo was taken at the top of Bell Mountain in North Georgia.When you are so high up in the mountains it really makes you understand how small we all are in this world. All the buildings in the photo look like white dots compared to the lake and mountains, it really makes me realize how vast nature is. The movie is about a little boy and his mom who live in a shed because the mom was kidnapped by a man. The mom gets pregnant by her abductor and raises the boy in the shed. The movie shows their lives when they were trapped in the shed and when they escape the shed. The focal point is how the little boy goes from living in a shed never knowing about an outside world to escaping and learning how to live with the rest of humanity. My box is meant to represent the shed, it looks like an ordinary box from the outside that hides the dark truth inside. The walls of the box are filled with common fears to emphasize the horrible reality that there is a girl and
